Circadian Connect
Circadian Connect LLP works on curating solutions and bridging gaps at the interface of science, society, and policy. We are a group of social science and technology professionals trained in mixed methodology and science communication to build collaborations for equitable and sustainable outcomes.
What's in the name
Circadian Connect, is inspired by the 'Circadian Rhythm' - an invisible rhythm of nature, a natural law following the twenty-four-hour cycle of the Sun that governs humans and societies.
Circadian rhythm plays a role, as an internal clock, even if one was to stay in a dark cave, with no reach of the sun. The rhythm may seem invisible but powerfully makes its presence felt when there is anomaly or dystrophy or off balance.
We use the lens of political sociology, the science of institutions, that seems invisible, but it helps explain not only the context of a societal situation, a programme, or a public policy, but one, that also shapes its outcomes. Failure to include institutions in policy or programme design often leads to inequitable or undesirable outcomes in society.
The suffix 'Connect' is to bridge, connect, and triangulate the variables, data points, stakeholders, and contexts between science-society-policy, to design solutions that align with values of justice, equity, and sustainability! Our logo integrates this connection depicting the sun, a human being, and ॐ Om!
